Family Fun Day!
On this special Family Fun Day we brought our special friend Tessa with us as we ventured off to Great America! Surprisingly it is a very kid friendly place. So many age appropriate rides. Lucky for us is was not very busy at all. Us big kids even got to sneak in the "good" rides

So I was going to do this Xtreme Fly'n thing with Tessa but I chickened out so Jeff went instead. I will try to post the video of it soon :)
Tessa and I snuck in two rides, if that wasn't enough all ready Jeff made me go on with him!! Myles went on this when he was not even two but I guess they changed the requirements because now he is not tall enough, so strange.
Love Love their faces!!
Riley's First Roller Coaster Ride! He loved it and went on it three times, once with each us big kids!

Visit with Granny D!
New and Old Sleepy Friends!
When Myles turned one we took him to Build Bear Workshop in Denver Colorado where he was able to make his special friend Froggie!! At the time Myles was really into Buzz Lightyear so we decided Froggie would be just that, Buzz. Well it has now been about four years and Froggie needed a clothes change. Myles searched up and down this amazingly over stimulating store to find the perfect outfit for Froggie.

Our little Riley roo is now three as you know and we have been slacking terribly in the special sleepy friend dept. In fact in recent weeks the boys have been fighting over who gets to sleep with what. So today Riley was able to go to Build A Bear Workshop in San Jose to pick out his own special sleepy friend. Riley is very much into "Alex and Marty" from Madagascar these days so no doubt he would pick this little guy out!! Riley had so much fun stuffing Marty, giving Marty a special voice and heart, giving him a bath and mostly telling Marty how much he loves him!! So cute, I do wish I would have brought the camera along for it. Now hopefully when Zoey turns one we will be able to take her there so she too can make a special sleepy friend!! I really can hardly wait!

Sunday Family Dinner!
We have been trying to have at least monthly family dinners with Jeff's dad side of the family which includes the five of us, Grandpa Tim and the GG's (Great Grandparents)Our kids love going over there to see everyone. Even though they are a bit crazy at times no one seems to mind well except us parents of course. On this particular night Myles was very helpful by putting everyone dishes in the dishwasher. I have to say he even likes to help me wash dishes at home now, woo hoo!!! Well here are a few pics of the great night we had!
I just love their reflection in this one :)

Big squeeze!
The GG's with two of our three munchkins, of course the kids never cooperate as you would like.

What you say???
Our little Ri-man is set to have tubes placed in both ears on April 23rd at 7:30am Please be praying for him, I can only imagine how terrified he is going to be once we are at the surgery center and things begin happening to him. We do have peace that this is the right thing and time for Riley to have this done as he scored very badly on a hearing test given last month. The tubes could last up to one and half years depending on when they fall out. The good news is he can still go swimming, surfing and take baths as usual. The better news is, is that his hearing should be fully restored and his speech will continue to get better not that it is really all that bad, different then Myles was at this age but still not to off. This may be the first of a few surgeries for Ri though. If for some reason things do not improve or if his nasal spray does not start working he will then need to have his tonsils out which then could lead to his adenoids being removed as well. Of course we are dreading any type of surgery he may face but trust that God's plan is at work in Riley and us. We still feel so blest to have such healthy kids even though sometimes we take them for granted. I recently read how most families/parents do not value their children as God does. This really hit home for Jeff and I. We love our kiddos to pieces but know at times we are failing them greatly by not valuing them as God does. This makes our heart break greatly, times are changing though :)
