When the Cats away the Mice will play...

When I got out of the shower yesterday I went to check on the kiddos as I usually do and this is what I found!

The Winnie the Pooh jar is glass and it sits on top of the freezer, can you believe it is still in tip top shape?

He was very proud of himself! Oh and of course our little princess was fast asleep.

Zoey Belle 3 months and counting!

Zoey is amazing! She weighs just over 14 pounds now :) She is getting so big so fast. She is very talkative just like her two big brothers! Zoey has been holding her head up more and more now. She is also beginning to like tummy time. She is still eating and sleeping very well! The only complaint we have with her is she hates car rides. As long as someone (normally Myles) is sitting next to her and holding her hand she is fine and not screaming. Otherwise bring your ear plugs along for the ride.

Crucial Hay Maze

Tessa, Gracie, Kyliegh, Jen & Zoey

Jeff, Johny, Chris and Adam

Last Saturday evening we took some of the high schoolers we work with up to Arata Farms just outside of Halfmoon Bay. We had a great time trying to find our way out of the Hay Maze. Props to Jeff for being the first one to find the exit. Unfortunately us girls never got out with out help. Infact I think Kyliegh and I always came out the entrance. We also walked through the "haunted barn"! What a joke!! Don't waste your $5 bucks on it!! Unless you want a good laugh!

This next Saturday we are taking the jr. highers to the Hollister Corn Maze at Swank Farms. I'll let you know how that goes :)

Two Months!

Zoey is now two months old!! She weighs 12lbs and 4oc and is 22 & 3/4 long! She is growing so well and so fast. She barely fits in size one diapers and 0-3 month clothing!! She is so different from the boys. At this age both boys weighed just over nine pounds, can you believe it?? It is so nice knowing that she is getting what she needs just from breastmilk. I have not had to supplement or take milk enhancing products. I have not even had to pump and she still has yet to have had a bottle! We are truly amazed by all of this. I know for some of you this really is no big deal but for us it is a HUGE relief and quit the blessing in comparrison to all the trouble our boys had.

Zoey is smiling alot now, she even giggles. When you talk to her, her eyes light up and she gets this adorable little grin on her face and she starts babbling back to you. When her eyes meet mine it just melts my heart. Here are the most recent pictures of our baby girl.

Two Girls and Seven Boys!

The other afternoon Zoey and I went to our first mommy and baby play date together. Despite her age it was still fun to see all of the children that she will soon get to know and hopefully make life long friends with. It seems as though there is something in the water around here. Jeff and I sat down awhile back and counted all of the new babies and and mommies to be and came up with at least thirty families expecting this year alone! That to me just seems so unreal. I hope to make it to another mommy and baby play date again next month. Here are a couple of pictures of our time together.

Sleepy Riley Roo

Riley has always been the kid to only be able to sleep in his bed and always alone. He has never wanted to sleep in our bed, or have us snuggle with him in his bed, sleep in the car or sleep at someone else's house. He likes his room and his bed the best. In some ways it is such a blessing but at times it can cause many problems. He also talks quite a bit in his sleep. Actually we all do. Myles is probably the worst he even sleep walks. Anyhow over the last few weeks we have caught Riley sleeping in some strange places as well as strange positions. I only have two pictures to document this for you for now but more to come I am sure. I first caught him asleep on the floor behind the bedroom door, next was half under his bed and half under the ladder. After that was bottomless (diaper and all) on his bed and then the very next day all the way under his bed and on top of their boogie board. It really is a sight to see. He is such a funny kid. The pictures are not great but you will get the point.

One month and growing well!

Can you believe Zoey Belle is one month old?!? Well I realize I am posting this late but in my defense we have been a bit preoccupied. I suppose with Myles starting school and Jeff's accident we have been a little busy to say the least.

Back to our little girl. She is amazing! She eats better than both boys ever did, PTL. She is growing very well and gaining weight like no other. She sleeps like a champ three to five hours at time especially during the night. When she is awake she is such a delight to be around. She rarely cries which is so different than the boys. Something that is so different from both boys is that she does not like to have a wet or dirty diaper for any length of time, such a girl!!

Here is our Princess P
