Zoey Belle has arrived!

Birthday Girl!




Zoey Belle arrived July 14Th 2008 at 12:50pm. She weighs 7lbs and 7ounces and is 19 3/4 inches long. She was born with lots of hair! For now her eyes are blue. Everyone is doing well!

Riley is excited to be a "BIG" Brother!

Three days to go...

So it is official, baby Zoey Belle will be arriving sometime around noon on Monday the 14Th. We are very excited and overwhelmed all at the same time. It truly is weird to know the day your child will be born. Of course you just never know what may or may not happen between now and then. We feel the urge to get things done a little faster around here, like laundry, grocery shopping, cleaning etc. At some point I should probably pack a bag for myself. Zoey's bag has been packed for weeks now of course! Myles seems to be doing fine with the upcoming arrival of Zoey but Riley on the other hand has become quit more attached to me. I am guessing he is sensing that life as he knows it is about to change. I have to say I do love how cuddly he has become and am grieving the thought of less time with him as well as Myles in the weeks ahead. Jeff is doing his best to be prepared for the big day. If you recall Riley's birth by c-section Jeff just about passed out in the operating room. In fact they had to wheel him out before he caused an even bigger scene. We have a back up plan this time so we feel a bit more prepared. So my visit to Hotel Dominican will begin Monday morning and will probably last through Thursday afternoon if all goes well. Of course visitors are always welcome!
